The Argentine Chamber of Mining Entrepreneurs (CAEM) participated in a meeting with the Secretary of Employment of the Nation.

CAEM's president, Franco Mignacco, Cecilia Domínguez and Santiago Cicchetti, heads of the Departments of Environment and Sustainability, and Legal and Institutional, respectively, participated in the meeting. Also present, on behalf of the union, were Héctor Laplace, Secretary General of AOMA, and Iván Malla, Assistant Secretary of AOMA.
Within the framework of the Law of Technical Professional Education (Law number 26.058), the opportunity to promote professional training for the employment of qualified labor was raised. The aim is to generate an agreement and a commitment between the three parties involved (State, private and workers' representatives) to launch different initiatives.


Meeting with the National Institute of Technological Education


CAEM also met with representatives of the National Institute of Technological Education (INET), SEGEMAR and AOMA on training and employment issues to work on the analysis of professional profiles and the development of reference frameworks for the national mining sector.
